上完 Class 1 & 2 之後, 成果如下:

Before After
My name is Allen Leung and I am a high school senior who is going to attend UCLA in the fall. I enjoy making friends and meeting new people who share the same interests as me. I am a firm believer in trying new things, because only when you are willing to expose yourself to your opportunities can you truly discover new things. I hope to work as an engineer when I graduate. As an incoming UCLA student, I am excited at the prospect of not only developing new friendships, but also accruing knowledge. In order to discover new things, one must be willing to broaden their horizons and be willing to expose oneself to unfamiliar people and places. I intend to abide by this mantra in my pursuit of mastering engineering. After all, I intend to follow in my father’s successful footsteps once I graduate; I intend to become an engineer. Ultimately, I advise you to remember the name “Allen Leung,” for in ten years I will become a deity – to say the least – in the engineering world, with UCLA’s brilliant professors to thank for my success.
In this example, all the sentences begin with the word “I”, demonstrating a lack of ability to utilize various sentence structures. After taking this class, this student was able to follow our writing template, understand how to integrate sentence structures, and transform the previous paragraph into a work of art.

CLASS 3:

新 / 舊版 SAT 閱讀 + 寫作 及 ACT

~ Our Toolbox of Writing Formulas is perfect for the NEW SAT

~ NEW SAT is similar to Attorney Bar Exam

~ Will learn how to encounter an excerpt from one of America’s founding documents: such as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution or texts that these documents have spurred about freedom, justice and human dignity

~ We Will Analyze Declaration of Independence

~ We Will Analyze I Have a Dream Speech

~ We Will Analyze Gettysburg Address

~ We Will Learn More Non-U.S., Non-British Literature

…AND THE BEST PART…Students will learn to write literary analysis of the above SAT Source Documents.

上完 Class 3 之後, 學生學會活用單字,

而不是傳統的死背單字

Example Comments
The fact that abstinence is almost considered an aberration in a world where teenage alcoholism and pregnancy percentages are high indicates a need for policy reformation. In addition to using SAT terminology, the student is using the following sentence structure: “The fact that….. indicates….”
Obviously, the upper class would advocate removal of taxes on the rich as they seem to have an affinity for wealth, albeit the government being unlikely to acquiesce to their request and more likely to admonish them to abstain from making such selfishly aggrandizing demands. As you can see from this example, the student has demonstrated improvement in his writing style through his mastery of advanced vocabulary.
